Your first 10 minutes: the setup wizard
The guided setup wizard walks you from adding your site to a live consent banner in five quick steps.
When the wizard appears
The first time you open your dashboard, the setup wizard opens automatically to get you running fast. It is a five-step guided flow, and you can skip it at any time with the X in the corner.
Need it again later? Click the “Setup Guide” button in the left sidebar of your console and the wizard reopens from the top.
The five steps
- 1Welcome — a quick overview of the flow: scan, review, configure, monitor.
- 2Your site — enter the domain you want to protect (just the domain, e.g. example.com; you can add more sites later).
- 3First scan — Consent Guard AI discovers and categorizes the trackers running on your site and drops them into your Tracker Registry.
- 4Banner — choose a starting banner style (Bottom Bar, Corner Box, or Center Modal) and a region default (Auto by visitor location, EU / GDPR strict, US opt-out, or Global opt-in).
- 5Done — you land on suggested next steps: invite a teammate, connect an integration, or open your audit ledger.
Everything you pick in the wizard is just a starting point — you can fine-tune the banner, trackers, and geo rules later from the console.
Ask Ava as you go
Every step of the wizard has an “Ask Ava” shortcut. If you are unsure what a tracker category means or which banner style fits, open Ava and ask in plain language — she can explain, and hand you to a human if you want one.
