Set up your consent banner

Install the Consent Guard AI banner on your website in a few minutes and start capturing valid, logged consent.

What the banner does

The consent banner is the small panel your visitors see when they first arrive. It asks for permission before any non-essential cookies or trackers fire, and records each choice so you have a defensible log of consent.

Consent Guard AI blocks tracking scripts by default until a visitor opts in, so you stay compliant from the very first pageview — no manual tagging required.

Install it

  1. 1Sign in to your compliance console and open Settings.
  2. 2Copy your install snippet — a single lightweight line that loads the banner.
  3. 3Paste it into the <head> of your site, ideally as the first script so it loads before your trackers.
  4. 4Publish your site and reload. The banner appears for new visitors automatically.
Tip

If you use a tag manager, add the snippet as a custom HTML tag set to fire on All Pages with the highest priority.

Match it to your brand

From the Design page in your console you can adjust colors, corner radius, and placement so the banner feels native to your site.

Keep the accept and reject options equally visible — most US state privacy laws expect a genuine, unbiased choice.

Confirm it is working

  • Open your site in a private window — the banner should appear before any analytics load.
  • Decline, then check that tracking scripts stay blocked.
  • Accept, and confirm your normal analytics resume.
  • Every choice now shows up in your consent log for audit purposes.
