How it works

Consent Guard AI wires GA4 to Google Consent Mode v2 so measurement respects each visitor’s choice. Before consent, GA4 runs in a privacy-safe cookieless mode; after an opt-in, full analytics resume.

This lets you keep modeled measurement and conversion data without dropping analytics cookies on visitors who have not agreed.

Setting it up

  1. 1Open the Integrations page and choose Google Analytics 4.
  2. 2Confirm your GA4 measurement ID.
  3. 3Enable Consent Mode v2 signaling from the connector.
  4. 4Run a scan to confirm GA4 waits for consent before dropping cookies.

How consent flows

  • Analytics consent state is passed to GA4 via Consent Mode v2.
  • GA4 stays in cookieless mode until analytics consent is granted.
  • The consent decision is logged to your audit ledger.
