Google Tag Manager
Trigger tags from Consent Guard AI consent variables in GTM.
Available nowHow it works
The GTM connector exposes Consent Guard AI’s consent state as variables and triggers inside Google Tag Manager. You gate any tag — analytics, ads, or custom HTML — behind the matching consent category, so nothing fires before permission.
Because most trackers are deployed through GTM, connecting it is usually the single highest-impact step for getting a whole site compliant at once.
Setting it up
- 1Choose Google Tag Manager on the Integrations page.
- 2Import the provided consent variables and triggers into your GTM container.
- 3Set each tag to fire on its matching consent trigger.
- 4Publish the container and run a scan to confirm tags respect consent.
How consent flows
- Consent Guard AI publishes consent state into GTM as variables.
- Tags fire only when their consent trigger is satisfied.
- Consent decisions are logged to your audit ledger.
